When you donate gently used furniture to House of Hope Resale, your items receive a second life while helping local families facing food insecurity, housing instability, transportation challenges, and other financial hardships. Proceeds from donated furniture sales directly support the programs of Saint Anne Hope Ministries.

If you have quality furniture you no longer need, our team may be able to pick it up directly from your home.

We generally require at least 3-4 pieces of furniture for pickup consideration. All furniture donations must be reviewed and approved by our staff before scheduling. Because space, condition, and demand vary throughout the year, not all furniture can be accepted.

Once approved, our third-party furniture pickup team will contact you to schedule an available pickup window.

Monday thru Friday

  • 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Pickup appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and often fill quickly.

What Furniture Can I Donate?

We welcome many types of gently used furniture, including:

Furniture should be clean, structurally sound, and ready for resale.

Furniture Donation Guidelines

To ensure a safe and efficient pickup process, please review the following guidelines before submitting a request:

  • We generally require 3-4 pieces of furniture for pickup consideration.

  • Furniture must be accessible on the ground floor or in a garage.

  • Items should be free of excessive damage, stains, odors, pet hair, smoke damage, and missing parts.

  • Heavy items that cannot be safely moved may not be accepted.

  • Furniture should be disassembled prior to pickup when necessary.

  • Glass shelves and fragile components should be wrapped and protected.

  • Our drivers reserve the final right of refusal at the time of pickup.

These guidelines help ensure that donated items can be safely transported and sold in our furniture showroom.

Furniture We Cannot Accept

At this time, we are not accepting:

  • Large appliances

  • Televisions and electronics

  • Entertainment centers

  • TV armoires and media cabinets

  • Furniture that is excessively damaged or unsafe

  • Items that cannot be safely transported

Because donation needs change throughout the year, acceptance is always subject to current inventory and showroom capacity.
